Objectives

The Inside Sales Representative’s main objective is to service the needs of the customer base that contact us by telephone, email/fax or as walk-in business. This individual is expected to be aware of and support all goals relating to sales plans and costs and to conduct him/herself in a professional manner conducive to generating a team attitude toward maintaining effective customer relationships. This individual will be responsible for in-store sales and customer service, as well as aggressively pursuing new customers by securing new prospect appointments to promote our services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, superior service by ensuring that all customer needs are recognized, serviced, and high customer satisfaction is maintained at all times
  • Achieve sales/budget targets which include attention to maintaining stock control; gross margins and managing cost budget
  • Supervise and contribute to all aspects of running the branch including selling, purchasing, quoting, telesales and material handling
  • Prepare customer orders based on material and size specifications
  • Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per receiving procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts
  • Oversee branch sales revenue and cash

About the Opportunity

As Warehouse/Driver you will be responsible for processing orders and making deliveries/pickups to our customers and from our suppliers while maintaining the highest level of service possible.

Responsibilities

  • Cut customer orders using metal cutting equipment such as saws, hydraulic sheer, etc to exact customer specifications
  • Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as required
  • Assist in proper maintenance of equipment (saws, forklift etc) ensuring safety first for everyone
  • Make small quantity metal deliveries to local industrial/manufacturing client base while maintaining a superior level of customer service
  • Pick up larger orders from suppliers
  • Maintain company vehicle to company safety standards
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Advise Store Manager of any requirements for maintenance and repairs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous driving experience

Phone Skills Training Specialist (Based out of our Mississauga, ON Corporate Office)

You will work with engaged employees to advance their inbound phone skills and enable them to convert more “potential” customers into “actual” customers.

The Phone Skills Training Specialist is a core member of the Franchise & Operations Team. The position is based in our Mississauga Head Office however some home office may be possible. This role will work closely with the respective Franchise Business Consultant to deliver constant phone skill improvement. This role reports to the Director, Franchise Support & Operations.

Objectives

The Phone Skills Training Specialist delivers and supports constant improvement of inbound phone skills across the entire network to improve efficiency, service levels, customer satisfaction and sales.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete phone assessments and provide analysis across the entire network.
  • Coach/train/re-train franchisees, managers and their staff on inbound phone skills.
  • Produce effective benchmarking reports.
  • Continually assess stores’ phone skill training needs to address and overcome common obstacles.
  • Educate and support Metal Supermarkets’ Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health & Safety Program.
  • Support an engaging, trusting, mutually profitable relationship between franchisees and the franchisor.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Understanding of fundamental training principles and adult learning techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
