NEW YORK CITY – Metal Supermarkets announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Raijean Johannsen to bring a new unit to the Bronx.
“Raijean is the right person to provide our exceptional world-class experience to consumers in the Bronx,” said Stephen Schober, President & CEO of Metal Supermarkets. “There is a strong demand for our services in the market, and our team is excited to support Raijean with expanding Metal Supermarkets to the borough.”
The franchise agreement for the Bronx comes amid a pivotal growth phase for the company. With locations open across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, Metal Supermarkets is executing a strategic expansion plan to add 50 new locations during the next four years in targeted markets, including Austin, Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Antonio. Designated an essential business, Metal Supermarkets provides a recession-resistant, innovative and durable opportunity for interested franchise investors.
“My background in business ownership has me well prepared to bring Metal Supermarkets and its leading services to the Bronx community,” said Raijean Johannsen, incoming owner of the store who has more than 15 years of experience as a trucking business owner. “I’m eager to start a new chapter in my entrepreneurship journey alongside my brother.”
Metal Supermarkets is actively awarding locations to qualified individuals like Johannsen, who have strong customer service experience. The moderate investment range for a Metal Supermarkets location is between $216,500 to $403,000, and qualified owners must have a minimum of $150,000 in liquid capital to be considered. Qualified U.S. military veterans may be able take advantage of a $5,000 reduction off the initial franchise fee.
