Metal Supermarkets Franchisees Stay Focused on Success!

After another excellent year for the Metal Supermarkets network, franchisees took some time to celebrate their success at the 2017 “Focus on Success” Metal Supermarkets Franchisee Conference in Palm Beach, Florida. Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners!

Safety Leadership Award

Douglas Gillingham of Metal Supermarkets Fort Worth was awarded the Safety Leadership Award for his team’s commitment to maintaining a high level of safety at the store. The Metal Supermarkets Fort Worth team has also been awarded an ISO 9001:2008 certification by QAS International. This is the second time the Fort Worth team has received this award.

Rookie of the Year

This year’s Rookie of the Year was awarded to Jay and Christine Preble of Metal Supermarkets Raleigh. Opened in January 2016, Jay and Christine found success while consistently and fully executing the Metal Supermarkets business system, displaying a strong start-up mentality, focusing on business development and sales growth, and confronting the unavoidable challenges of new store start-up with professionalism, positivity and a proactive mindset.

President’s Award

This year’s President’s Award for franchisee of the year was awarded to Tim Kemp, the franchisee of the Metal Supermarkets Burnaby, Langley, and Richmond, Vancouver stores. Along with exceptional strength in performance, Tim has displayed excellence in operations and a true dedication to the Metal Supermarkets brand. This is the 3rd franchisee of the year distinction for Tim.
