Use only water in your saw. The saw only needs to cool, there’s no need for lubrication. Whatever you use in your saw is very hard to wash off before the steel can be painted and washing the steel on jobs sites isnt easy. It also interferes with the welds and makes brushing grinding dust away difficult because it makes it sticky.

As a local business owner I us Metal Supermarket’s alot and generally find that my material is in fact proper dimensions for what I ordered. My last order was not correct even though I had a quote that was made to indicate what I was purchasing and trying to confirm on the phone. I think that the quote’s could be setup differently to indicate outer and inner dimensions in the proper order in particular to tubing and piping for I.D. and O.D. Reconfirming these sizes with customer over the phone is an important step as well.
