Lots of stuff is in stock, the few times it wasn’t it took a couple days to get it. Prices are really pretty good, especially if you call in an order and come in to pick it up. Orders are usually ready within the day, possibly the next (I’m guessing if they are really busy). I’m a ‘hobby’ metalworker, so I usually want small quantities – one foot of this, 3′ of something else, etc. I think Metal Supermarkets is an excellent place to get these things.

The Portland location has been great about prompt and accurate service. I only wish there was a way to purchase online specifically from this location instead of either having to submit a quote request, email, or call, thus requiring an extra step to process the sale or relying on verbal transfer of the items (I always prefer to have a written list of items and quantities).
