When I first started shopping there and compared bulk prices to MSM prices, I didn’t think it was a very good deal.

But it has so many pluses that it works out fantastic for me. Many times the remnants rack has what I need and if I do order something specific, it’s cut and ready same day or next day.

The two office pros at Richmond, Lindsay and Chase are simply put great people. You could not ask for better people to work with customers.

I’m sorry, I don’t know all their names, but they guys in the back are equally talented, courteous and prompt.

When I bought from BMG metals, I had to take 20 foot lengths, precariously transport them off-site to cut them to fit my vehicle. Not worth my time, money or extra driving distance.

You’ve got a great team in Richmond, give them a raise to keep them.

I sent an email on a Sunday afternoon, before 9:00 am on Monday I had a quote. I sent an acknowledgement, requested that they fill the order and payed for it on line. I was told it would be ready the same day but I was unable to pick up that day. Monday afternoon a “stay at home” order was issued by our governor. Went by on Tue morning and there were instructions on the door to call a number for ordering or pickup. In less than 5 min my order was on the truck. I don’t think you could ask for better service

Recommend when making multiple cuts for the same lengths, make sure the first cut is exact then use it for template for the remainder of cuts. My last order varies in length from shortest to longest by 3/8”. I had to recut most of the 24ea of 25ea to match the shortest cut. Was very time consuming and frustrating but I do like shopping there because of the people / employees being so friendly

I submitted a request for quote in mid-afternoon. Within 45 minutes I got the quote. The next morning I went to the warehouse to get the item that I ordered. Within 15 minutes, I had it in hand and was paying for it.

More important, I inadvertently left an expensive dial-indicator measuring tool on the checkout counter. The counter ladies called to tell me that I’d done so before I was even able to return the 45 mile ride home to near Williamsburg.

My last visit was on the spot. I was in a hurry. I needed a plate 5 X 5 X 3/8 with a hole in the middle. They were able to get me the plate quickly by I would have to wait until the end of the day to get the hole drilled. I couldn’t wait, so I took the plate with out being drilled. Just getting the plate on short notice was a major convenience. Cutting the hole was easy enough for me. This is a great resource for your needs.
