Gray Cast Iron

Gray cast iron (also known as gray iron castings) is a cast iron that gives a gray fracture due to the presence of flake graphite. Often called gray iron. The specific properties of gray iron will differ depending on what materials are melted together to pour into the mold as well as the process processed used for casting.
