Home Hard Chromium Hard Chromium Hard chromium is chromium deposited for engineering purposes, such as increasing the wear resistance of sliding metal surfaces, rather than as a decorative coating. It is usually applied directly to basis metal and customarily thicker than a decorative deposit.
