Premier North American Metal Solutions Franchise Opens First Store in Cleveland Market

Cleveland, Ohio – (January 20, 2020) — Metal Supermarkets, the world’s largest supplier of small-quantity metals, will open its newest store at 5399 Lancaster Drive, Suite #9, Brooklyn Heights, Ohio on Monday, January 20th. This is the first of three stores planned for the franchise’s expansion into Northeast Ohio. Metal Supermarkets Cleveland (South) offers customers instant access to any metal, cut to size and ready fast, with no minimum order quantity.

Metal Supermarkets stocks a diverse selection of metal types including hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, stainless steel and aluminum in a wide variety of shapes including bar, tube, sheet, plate and more. The store is owned by longtime Cleveland resident Nick Berchtold. Prior to becoming a Metal Supermarkets franchisee, Nick worked for more than 18 years in leadership roles in steel and metal related industries.

Berchtold plans to open two more Metal Supermarkets locations in Northeast Ohio, eventually employing between 20-25 people.
