Indianapolis, Indiana – (February 3, 2020) — Metal Supermarkets, the world’s largest supplier of small-quantity metals, opened its newest store at 5228 West 79^th Street in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis on Monday, February 3rd.  Metal Supermarkets Indianapolis (West) offers customers instant access to any metal, cut to size and ready fast, with no minimum order quantity.

Metal Supermarkets Indianapolis (West) – like the original store in the area, Metal Supermarkets Indianapolis East (3250 N. Post Rd. #102) – offers customers instant access to any type of cut to size metal with no minimum order quantity. Both stores serve a wide variety of businesses and consumers across various industries, including busy contractors, large maintenance and construction projects as well as the weekend warrior doing small projects around the house.

Metal Supermarkets Indianapolis (West) is owned and operated by franchisee and native Hoosier Jesse Johnson, who opened his original Indianapolis location in November 2013.

“We noticed a growing need for a metal supplies on the West side of Indianapolis, so it made perfect sense to open a second store to better serve the entire city,” said Johnson.  “By adding a second location, we wanted to make it convenient and better serve our customers with the same fast service, product variety and outstanding customer service that Metal Supermarkets is known for.”

Metal Supermarkets stores stock a diverse selection of metal types including hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, stainless steel and aluminum in a wide variety of shapes including bar, tube, sheet, plate and more. The new store also offers value-added services such as production saw-cutting, shearing and same-day delivery.
