Mild Steel Hexagon Bar Cold Rolled 12L14 is a hexagonal-shaped bar and is essentially a resulfurized, rephosphorized screw stock with lead added. The low carbon content allows for easy machining, welding, and fabrication.
Adding lead along with the high sulphur and phosphorous levels, creates a lubricating effect, resulting in extremely fast machining rates. Cold Rolled Steel C12L14 provides a smooth, machined surface and its low friction component prolongs tool life.
