Four Students Seeking Future in Trade Industries Across North America Awarded $10,000 By Metal Supplier

August 7, 2024 |Toronto, Ontario – Metal Supermarkets is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 trade school scholarship, awarding $2,500 to each of the four students across the United States and Canada who are attending or plan to attend a post-secondary trade school with a goal of obtaining a career in the vital trade industries.

Metal Supermarkets created the annual scholarship in response to the shortage of skilled trade workers across North America, helping to shine a spotlight on the need for skilled trade workers. The 2024 Trade School Scholarship judging panel consisted of Metal Supermarkets corporate staff, as well as franchisees from stores in Chicago (Niles), Chicago (Bridgeview), Indianapolis, and Minneapolis (Roseville).
