We do business with Metal Supermarkets Columbus when we do small fabrications or need short lengths of materials that just don’t make sense to buy stock of. For most fab work they do a great job on cuts, have a good turn around time on stock they might not have in warehouse, and have great customer service. They are certainly the best choice for one-off fabrications, custom fabrications, and any application where it doesn’t make sense to keep stock. Unlike most metal suppliers they also have a good balance between steels, stainless, and aluminum alloys that they keep in house.

The guys and girls working there are extremely nice. If I ever have questions about a specific metal I get an honest and straight up answer. Their prices are the best the area (I know this because I’ve shopped around before) but even if they were slightly higher I’d still use metal supermarket because they have earned my trust and business. I was curious just to watch the shearing process of them cutting some stainless sheet so I ask if I could watch the machine in action. They were more than happy to let me watch and learn from a safe distance of course.
