Brass Plate C260

Brass Plate C260 is a flat shaped plate of C260 brass alloy. Brass C260 has been produced as a combination of copper and zinc. It has the highest ductility in the yellow brass series. It is an attractive material with a smooth, yellow brass finish and it can have a polished or brushed (satin) finish. C260 Brass can be used in corrosive environments. It forms a thin protective patina (layer), which unlike steel and iron, will not rust when exposed to the atmosphere. It has excellent cold workability and is used extensively in the automotive industry. C260 Brass is also commonly used in the manufacturing of plumbing, hardware, and ammunition components.
