Alloy steel threaded rod contains additional elements like chromium, nickel, or molybdenum beyond its carbon steel composition.

This composition difference results in alloy steel threaded rod offering superior strength, hardness, and toughness compared to its carbon steel counterpart, with alloy steel capable of achieving tensile strength between 600 and 2000 MPa and yield strength of 350 and 1800 MPa.
